Developed a Facial Emotion Recognition (FER) AI for interpreting emotions from fisheye images by researching neural network algorithms and deep learning models in collaboration with Mariko Isogawa, Associate Professor at Keio University. Leverage expertise in research, data analysis, and Python programming, including PyTorch, to develop a pioneering FER AI model, the first of its kind in AI-based emotion recognition.

Collaborate with a PhD researcher to investigate applications of diffusion-model techniques within large language models (LLMs), exploring integration strategies and research directions. Review progress and refine research directions in weekly meetings with the supervising professor. Engage in the CAMP Lab's biweekly research meetings to learn from ongoing LLM work, share updates, and provide constructive feedback.

Build a Gateway & Lunar Surface Ops visualization tool with Barrios Technology for NASA Johnson Space Center Flight Operations, showing relative positions and motion of Gateway elements. Create a CAD model ingestion/editing workflow and present kinematics-only displays.

Conducted AI research, developing algorithms and models to enhance drone usage in different scenarios. Drove progress through weekly stand-ups, aligning on milestones, refining methodologies, and shaping next-phase research objectives. Presented progress in lab meetings, showcasing results to peer groups, giving feedback, and contributing critiques to advance projects.

Revamped LaunchPad's website to drive greater community awareness and engagement. Collaborated in weekly strategy meetings to identify challenges and implement support initiatives for both mentors and mentees, enhancing overall program experience. Cultivated and sustained sponsor relationships through regular outreach and partnership updates, ensuring ongoing program funding and resource alignment.

Selected as 1 of 31 from 3,881 applicants (top 0.8%). Diagnosed drivers of women's underrepresentation in Imabari, Ehime, and presented solution recommendations directly to the mayor. Led 50+ interviews with residents and stakeholders, uncovering insights missed by quantitative analysis.

Founded an organization to promote sustainable living through technological initiatives. Programmed and launched a browser extension supporting Amazon in 4 countries, India, Japan, the UK, and the US, that calculates the CO2 footprint of products and shipping based on dimensions, weight, country of origin, and category.

Organized and managed an online seminar series on Sustainable Development Goals awareness for over 40 selected students. Led the event team in identifying target participants, developing presentation slides, and overseeing all event-related activities. Collaborated with international teams from Canada, Indonesia, and the US to drive global engagement on sustainability topics.
